Dualit Toaster, may be not the prettiest toaster, BUT it certainly makes the best toast I have made for many years with other makes, and looks great besides my matching kettle.

Doe's what it supposed to do got it for £87 said used but was brand new.

My husband likes it but, I prefer my toast to pop up automatically! I get plenty of burnt toast as I am always on the move!!!

I already had a dualit classic and loved it. This was an extravagant replacement bought only for the colour to match other products in my kitchen and still love it.

Disliked the high price - but hey, it's a vanity product right ? Mrs Me loves it and it makes toast... more cannot (need not) be said. It's a toaster not a nuclear power station.

The perfect companion to our Dualit Classic Kettle despite there being more of the copper element, which is a darker colour, on the Toaster. Robustly made, small footprint and generous double slot for all sizes of bread and fillings. Looks good, toasts good. What's not to like? Five stars from me.

Quality product - there are lots of toasters out there but others just make toast - this one makes you smile .Its like comparing a Ford Fiesta with a Morgan or Aston Martin both do the same thing but the Dualit does it with style.

I like the fact that it toasted the bread evenly all on both sides and the correct size for today's bread

I absolutely love it, my last toaster was on its last legs so had to buy a new one u came across these 1 British built 2 looks great, start buying British. It may cost a couple of quid extra but my last toaster was compressed, depressing toast, this toast is crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, like toast you used to eat as kid, sounds weird but it's true haha

I absolutely love this. It looks good and works well. You can choose one or two slices thereby saving electricity if you're only doing one. The dial works like a timer to toast for longer or shorter times to get the toast browner or paler. The lift up lever allows you to lift up and put down the bread. It has a crumb tray which pulls out. I'm hoping it will last for ages on account of the price.

Really great to look at and very much better to use than the majority of toasters. But you pay for it! Would recommend though if you can stretch your finances a bit.

The best toaster I have purchase, cooks evenly

The toaster works beautifully, with nice even colour both sides. The only exception is for thin toast, as it begins to curve slightly and some parts are therefore nearer the elements than others, but it’s only a slight difference. This is the best toaster I’ve ever had, so I hope it lasts well and the promise of spare parts when it ages is borne out in practice. It looks robust so I hope it proves to be. The sandwich cage is good with it, and could be used to stop thin toast curling. I love the copper colour too, which blends with other things in my kitchen.

This is an outstanding and attractive product offered at a very keen price, as I was once tols in a department store, that Dualit toasters were the Rolls Royce of toasters. I wanted to send one to Germany as a present, but Dualit said it was against the law to send one to here without a UK plug. The alternative was to buy a UK specified one and post it to Germa, which cost an extra £67.95 with DHL to send to Germany. Dualt in Germany are about twice the UK price so there was no benefit in buying it on amazon.de.. Please post this in my review of the product, or tell me how I can exprress my views.

A really well built toaster with some gd features like a lever to raise the toast once cooked, worth the cost and has the advantage of being able to replace bits when you need to, we have a matching kettle too

Stunning to look at and easy to use.

Looks lovely. Works differently to other toasters- the manual dial timer cannot be stopped or sped up once it’s turned so you’ll have to switch off the power when your toast is ready and just let the timer finish. Power must be on for toaster to toast but timer will still work regardless, meaning sometimes I have turned the timer on, walked away and realised it’s not toasted my bread because it’s switched off at the wall. Makes great toasted sandwiches using the separately purchased cage!

Over the last few years we seem to have got through toasters at quite an alarming rate. Perhaps it was trying to save a bit of money that led to us buying cheaper options. This time I decided I was going to get a Dualit toaster having heard good things about them. They are used in many commercial settings and I decided to go for one in a copper finish. I was not disappointed. The mechanism feels sturdy, the controls are a simple clockwork timer and there is no messing round with springs to make the toaster pop up, a simple lever lifts your toast.Controlling the degree of toasting is simple, fresher bread gets a bit longer, older bread a bit less time. Thats all there is to it. I suppose the importance thing is that it makes great toast once you figure out how long to toast for.There is the obvious question of price. This is not a cheap toaster, you could buy quite a few cheaper alternatives for the same price, but then again I found the cheaper alternatives didn't last as long and once an element went you had to throw the toaster out. The elements on these can be replaced quite simply. I can't see this one ending up in the bin.
