Classic design , I’ve used one at work and loved it wanted one for home use , consistent in toasting and you can get spare parts , you might find it expensive but it is worth it .Best of all it’s made in Britain 🇬🇧 quality craftsmanship with the persons name on the bottom .
Beautiful, elegant, simple an functional. The dualit classic at work inspired me to buy a 4 slice lite which was all that I could afford at the time. That was great but this D4VMHA in copper is superb. Perfect toast every time. 1, 2, 3 or 4 slice selection for efficiency. 1 to 2 bagels, just had one of those for the 1st time and equally perfect. Essential to do a full time all slots dry run to condition the elements. Expect a whisper of smoke this one time. Cages make for great sandwiches buttered on the outside only. Crumb tray is easy to use and clean. Made by Brian in 2022 in this instance. Cleaned by myself at every opportunity because it deserves it. Highly recommended.

This is a great piece of kit. I was sceptical about paying so much for a toaster just because it looks cool. But this performs as well. You get exactly the same results every time.
Brilliant! but not cheap... If you want toast done perfectly in an appliance that looks the business.. then this is for you. It toast up to 4 slices and even toasts one side of bread only!
Expensive, naturally, but looks classic and magnificent, a treat for my refurbished kitchen. Functionally it produces ace toast. The manual lever allow you to check so that you get toast to perfection.
Easily the best toaster i've ever had. Consistent toasting on both sides, without fail, very sturdy and excellent build quality, plus it looks fantastic!Proper finger print magnet though, so invest in a can of stainless steel polish
Looks great and works well , 4 slot toaster but you can do 1 , 2 or 4 pieces by setting the knob to the desired amount. toasts really well and spares are available so can be fixed. very robust would certainly recommend
Will last and give great toast unlike so many other toasters. Yes it costs more, but you will notice the difference. Even toasting. Make sure you preheat and follow the directions!
A beautiful toaster! Having had an Aga to make toast on for the last 21 years, I was not happy at the thought of a toaster, but when I saw the Dualit with the copper I thought it would be compensation to have this pretty version.Have not been disappointed by it's looks, quality or performance.
I love this toaster so much. You can set it to toast at one slot, two slots or all four slots. The only down side is, when you want three pieces of toast, one will be double cooked on one side. Still five stars though.
Simple operation easy controls. Would be easy to repair and locate parts yourself. Previous one still in use after 35 years.The chrome and copper model has a real retro but modern outlook. On top of this, its not from China but British made!
Brilliant! VERY expensive, but IT IS BRITISH MADE! Not many (if any) others are, so this fact alone makes the price worthwhile. It is a wonderful piece of kit and we are very pleased with. If you can go to the price, do so. You won’t regret it.
The Toaster does, what it's supposed to do. It's reliable toasting bread. The slices are getting crispy on the outside and stay soft in the inside. Build quality seems to be great, but the device is still to new to get a conclusion about this. Bought it at a warehouse deal and everything was fine, the toaster was in a almost new condition.
Treat yourself. Got to save up for the matching kettle now. I have given my old toaster to a friend, another dualit. Yes they are a lot of money, but spoil yourself.
Beautiful machine, makes excellent toast. Plenty of room for big bread, very handy that you can lift the bread to check. Toast is crisp outside without being dried out like in cheap toasters. Very satisfying piece of equipment overall.
Good product and looks stylish too.
It's a trifle bulky but it really works. Gives better all over toast than our previous Sage The Smart 4 and will hopefully be more resilient (that lasted 4 months being used twice a week before fusing the whole house!). Very easy to use as long as you read the directions.
A beautiful toaster, which in contrast to the matching kettle (which also looks beautiful but performs entirely normally) - really does seem to toast better than I'm used to !Bread is evenly toaster and stays in the slot keeping warm when finished toasting (as opposed to immediately popping up and getting cold).I really do love this toaster. Of course it's ridiculously expensive but I expect it to last !
Well - I dithered for ages before spending lots of money on a toaster.I needn't have worried - apart from the clunky timer (clockwork) this is without doubt the best toaster I have ever had.It toasts perfectly & evenly.I did save £30 by buying one that had been returned so the box had been opened but the product unused (made me feel better about the price😊)
Perfect for just one, two or four slices. Toasts very quickly. just be mindful if you put another slice in straight after it will toast quicker (over done) but thats the same for all toasters. Really pleased and time will tell how long it lasts, but very solid and mechanical
OMG a toaster that actually works properly not cheap but WELL WORTH IT looks classy and the pop up handle to keep check on how brown you want your toast to be is a great idea should have bought one years ago nothing compares to this !!!!!
A beautiful, solid, easy to use and good looking toaster. Evidently I can keep this for ever as it is an excellent build standard and can be repaired. I hope this is the case, to justify the high price, but it does look worth the money. I leave it out on the kitchen worktop now instead of putting it away, as I did with my old toaster - it is a smart addition to the kitchen. And it toasts the bread very well.

I bought this as a treat for a new home, my parents have has the classic 4 slot Vario toaster for 18 or so years., and it's never had a fault, it gets used daily, and is still on all it's original parts - and it makes the best toast.Yes, it's expensive for a toaster, I think our original was about £150 back in the late 90's, but I've easily spent this on replacing toasters that are poor, or have reached the end of their life - and all the spares are available, and it's simple design means (in theory) this should never need replacing - as long as it's maintained.It's a British design classic, right up there with the original Anglepoise lamp and Routemaster Bus, and the copper end caps look fantastic, not sure how easily they'll mark, but I try to take good care of my things, so hopefully not a problem.I can't see the issue previous commenters have had with bread sizes - we use the old one with bagels, shop bought bread and hand cut loaves, and never a problem, the slots are nice and deep, and reasonably wide, the only issue you will find is for things like buns. teacakes etc, but I've had similar with all my toasters- an added bonus is you now get the option to use 1 slot instead of the old 2/4 of the Vario.You do have to be more careful and not leave the toaster unattended, it's always worth switching off at the wall or unplugging after use, as potentially there is a possibility of the toaster overheating if the timer sticks, but I can't say I've ever seen that in years of use.I always said I'd buy a Dualit toaster, as I'm partial to toast - which is lucky, as that's all I can afford to eat now.
Lovley toaster - as would be expected built to last. We've only changes as a result of our plus 20 year one breaking. Worth the money if it lasts as long and looks great
