This Dualit fast boil kettle is, nicely styled with clear, easy to read labelling. It has a wide lid, which simply pops open when releasing the catch on the top, to provide easy tap filling. The clear windows are labelled with units of cups (Min, 2-5 and Max) on one side and litres (Min, 0.5-1.25 and Max) on the other - so 6 cup max or 1.5 litres. There is a little, removable filter in the pouring spout to stop any limescale (or other bits) being poured out. The on-off button is also large and lights up red when switched on. The base, which the kettle sits on, is a shiny silver effect, which complements the black kettle very well. In use, the kettle is quick and fairly quiet when being boiled and the spout does pour nicely without spurting or dripping, as other kettles can do.

Really like the looks of this. Already have a Dualit Toaster which has been great and lasted for years so I am a fan of the brand. Purchased this to replace a more expensive Kitchen Aid Kettle that had temperature control and a large capacity so I was a little hesitant as to how it would compare. Boils fairly quick and is really quiet - so much so that I thought it was faulty for a brief moment on first switch on. Perfect size to make 2-3 cups at a time and looks good in black. Unfair to make a direct comparison to my old kettle but for the price I am more than happy with this. Decent price for a decent brand in my opinion.

Having had the Dualit lite for 9 years I was very disappointed in the very expensive Classic I bought to replace it with, the on light failed after 2 weeks & I returned it! Not giving up easily I decided to try the studio! I bought the black to match my black lite toaster & so glad I did! Lightweight, easy flip lid to fill boils quick & looks very stylish! Highly recommend as delighted with it & less than half the price of the classic!

This kettle is fabulous. Very stylish. Great value for money. The numbers are large and I like that you can see the water boiling behind the numbers. The on button is also large and easy to flick on, it lights up red too when on. I love that the kettle feels a bit retro to me with it's round style and round on button. I love the shiney black, I think it's easier to keep visibly clean compared to matt black or steel. The lid doesn't need detached to fill & this is a big plus in my book. I have never thought about 'the pour' before with a kettle but read about it a lot in previous reviews. Now I realise! The pour is excellent, it pours at a great angle requiring less of a tip. I also think this means less spills, certainly less than my previous kettle. It's also light weight. I'm very glad our old kettle packed in, I just love this one.
