Great little kettle, yes the lid can be iffy but thats fine, it will ofcourse have a strange smell, it's new! 5 minutes to boil a full kettle of water, so not the fastest but not the slowest either. Handle does not get hot, slightly warm yes but that's from the actual body of the kettle with boiled water freshly done. The lid does not leak unless you over tip the kettle....as do most. Honestly this is a great little kettle that will see us through.

Basic kettle, dose the job well
It glows, it boils and filters at spout. Haven't made a bad tea or coffee with it yet. The size is ample, appearance doesn't look out of place, relatively quiet, it seems to be holding up, no funny tastes or smells if you follow the instructions and give it a few goes for test purposes, disposing of water first 2-3 times. Definitely value for money.

Amazing purchase. Bought to replace my last which was a Swan that lasted all but 7 months, before it developed a leak..as did the Morphy Richards before that, & the Rowenta before that..all the brands prior to this find developed some fault within 12 months..be it the cordless base or the Kettle itself.My kettle is never off in excess of 20+ times a day, sometimes more dependant on visitors.I haven't had a better product, & for an amazing price.Its practical to descale ( which is a must once a month in my area WF9). Where as some kettles retain scale after cleaning & repeat cleaning, this one doesn't. The spout filter is easily detachable & the filling lid button function practical.If I had any criticism at all..& it's me being "picky", after several months use..the lid has "very". Very, tiny gap between the lid & body. BUT it still operates safely.EXCELLENT BUY, NO more buying more expensive Established brands for me.Top buy, good solid quality product.UPDATE:After contacting the company to purchase a replacement limescale spout filter ( my fault it got damaged)..because the part was out of stock, the company has replaced the whole unit FOC, 1ST CLASS CustomervService, even though I said I would be happy with the filter replaced.Now looking to purchase other kitchen items to go with new Kitchen fitted.
Value for money and lightweight with a lid that pops open fully. This is my 2nd kettle - purchased as a spare. Being elderly, this is perfect for my needs. One single easy press down action to open the lid fully, nice and light and reliable. Would recommend.
