Solved the issues I had with throwing food waste into my normal bin. It used to really smell. This container uses a filter to aid with smell. I can tie bags of food up and throw them away separately. The build is pretty good. The lid opens easily. There is a handle to carry it with. It is small enough to barely take up space on my kitchen counter. No complaints. I would recommend.
I was previously using a tin waste bin to match my utensil tin. But it got rusty. I am happy with the colour and the style. It's a good size and I like the bin can be wiped clean. I read some people have been having trouble getting the right size compostsble bags for the bin. I use Tesco compostsble bin liners which are perfect.
It's Just what I was looking for to replace an old ceramic food waste bin. Ideal size, looks very smart and with the charcoal filter, there are no iffy smells.
Bought this to replace previous bin as the plastic went brittle and bits started to break off. Quick and easy to setup, good weight, in the lid it has an odour pad which I great idea and seems to help.

Smart and sits conveniently on the worktop. Compost disposal much easier than using my previous floor caddy. Nice little tip handle for lid. Haven't found suitable bags yet - the Tesco ones recommended by another reviewer are slightly too big. Not really sure what the odor eaters add to such a small caddy. Got it on an offer and probably would not have paid full price. Would also have liked a colour choice.
This Joseph Joseph food waste bin is compact and does the job perfectly. I love the cheerful colour, which adds a nice touch to the kitchen. The built-in odour filter is excellent and really helps prevent any unpleasant smells from the bin. Overall, I love this product and would highly recommend it!
Perfect design and product.The box is made of two layers with a ventilated gap between them, preventing condensation. It also has a replaceable filter on the lid that prevents odour coming out as well as flies getting in and out.Make sure you order the bags from the same manufacturer
Lovely size sits nice on counter top the charcoal filter seems to prevent the smells from seepingbout and definitely not had as many flies since using it. Easily wipes clean filter easy to change
Well made solid and easy to use caddy - my only gripe is that it appears to have a slot at the back of the caddy to hang on to a kitchen cupboard door but its covered by the lid 🤷♂️ I still give it 5 stars though

I bought the Joseph Joseph waste caddy to replace the one my local council supplied (poor quality, no seal and not fit for purpose .. the bin I mean). I find you can never go wrong with Joseph Joseph products, a bit more expensive but always fit for purpose.

Got this to replace the ugly council bin we had before, and it's been such a great improvement. Not only does it look really smart and blends with the kitchen appliences, I also love the fact that the bag can be attached to the bin so it doesn't slip down. Really like the clever ventilation system to avoid condensation at the bottom and the odour filter (which is not exposed like many other bins I've seen). 10/10 !

I used to use the mushroom boxes to collect bits for the compost but I was having to go and empty them up to three times a day. This is much better. It holds a good amount of vegetable waste and trips to the heap now happen once every other day.I have not used the Joseph Joseph bags, just the 10 litre compost bags from Tesco. Once I'd got the knack of fitting them tidily and gathering the excess to poke through the hole at the back, the cheapo bags work fine.I wanted a rectangular bin as I work on a butchers' trolley and was sweeping all the waste straight into the mushroom boxes with the back of my knife or a sponge. Old habits die hard and a few times I have tried holding the box in the same way, but the top rim that covers the bag edges comes off - with disastrous results as the rest of the box, and its contents, crashes to the floor. I am now sweeping onto a small chopping board and scraping that into the bin. The rectangular shape is good for that. The bin is a good squat shape, no chance of it toppling over.The lid stays up fine but I will not be putting this through the dishwasher just in case I end up with the same lid problems others have had. It's easy enough to wipe out and doesn't seem to get very dirty at all. I have found some condensation in the bin underneath the bag but that is easily wiped with a bit of kitchen roll.I have no complaints about the handle either. It seems fine.The charcoal filter works really. It holds in smells completely, even the obnoxious smell of banana skins stays inside. I did think that once this filter wore out I would cut a chunk of cooker hood filter to use instead but it works so well and seems to be lasting ok so I might splash out on the correct filters.Just for the sake of testing it thoroughly I have removed the filter and put it back. I struggled until I realised that you release the clip underneath and push up so the filter cover pops off the top. I find that I only need to push one clip and do not need to squeeze the two together.All in all, a well designed product that does the job extremely well.
Love this little caddy. Easy to use, clean and it's space saver. Don't buy the Joseph Elm bags because they are too small.
Just the most fuss-proof one I've ever used. So neat, and properly rectangular. Pair with Greener Walker composting bags. They tuck neatly under the lower level, and are held in place by the lid, meaning the vessel itself doesn't really get dirty. The dismountable vent is great for deep cleaning.
Very nice small counter top food waste bin. Nice dark colour. Perfect for my needs. It is a bit fiddly to get the cheap food bin bags to fit but when you poke the excess through the hole at the back it does stay in place perfectly well.
Well made, durable material. Lid closure easy to use and looks neat and tidy on work surface. Easy to change bags and filter and easy to clean. No smell. Highly recommend.
