These salt and pepper Mills are a neat little set from Joseph Joseph.The bodies are matte and provide a good grip. The colours are neutral enough to blend in with most kitchens and they sit upright so it gets rid of the salt/pepper debris that normally collects at the bottom of the grinder due to it being bumped when the mills are put back.There is a little metal disc that you can twist on each mill to control how fine you can grind your salt or pepper. From personal use, we have found that this feature is more effective for the pepper (whether you want the pepper properly cracked or a finer powder).Would recommend for anyone looking for a new salt and pepper set which are sleek and modern and also looking to stop rogue granules from accumulating on the countertops/shelves. High fashion.

These not only look great but also have the advantage of the salt / pepper coming from the top of the grinder rather than the bottom. NO more salt and pepper left on cupboard shelves. Very easy to use and light weight compared to others, especially the automated type. Joesph always produce great designs and in this case smash the functionality too - recommend

Update: 2.5 years in - still going strong and just as good!I’d been looking at a similar salt and pepper grinder design to these for ages as ours had a knack for leaving salt all over the table. Although the other design is lovely I was concerned about the longevity of them, especially as they’re quite dear (similar price point to these).We already have a couple of Joseph Joseph items, all of which have lasted well, so I was pretty pleased when these came out! A trusted brand and all that. They’ve only been in use for a couple of days but they’re really easy to fill and use.I found it a little odd initially as the salt tends to come out of one side (although this does now seem logical when I wrote it down...) They look and feel lovely - good enough for every day use but equally happy on a dinner party table.

They are a brilliant piece of design

These have a really nice feel to the touch, with a nice but adjustable milling size. These were cheaper here than anywhere else I’ve seen them. My only slight negative is that the filling plug underneath has a very small range of movement. Which is great for easy access, but also once loosened in normal daily use, leaving a mound of jettisoned peppercorns when we lifted the mill for use. But to be fair this has only happened once, just a bit of a surprise at the time.

Very pleasing in every way. Attractive shape and colour, easy to fill, nice to hold and work well.

Great so far

I have bad arthritis in both hands and prefer the freshly ground condiments. These always look smart and stylisn and more importamtly, they are so easy for me to use. Before buying these I had broken 3 pepper grinders in 3 months. They didn't bounce when they hit the tlied floor :( It's easier for me to hold these two horizontally to grind with them - left hand holds the narrow end and right hand turns the grinder end. There is no problem refilling them either so my OH doesn't need to be at my beck and call to do the job. I also love the fact that there are no litte mouns of salt and pepper beneath them on the kitchen table. I can't ever see me using any other brand, now I have got my independace back with salt and pepper aplications!

I went to dinner at a friends house last week and she had this S&P set, it actually works! I love you can set the required amount of seasoning to your preference and it is so easy to fill. The material of the body is smooth and will not stain with greasy fingers should I treat my self to a chippy tea 😋. Delivery was excellent and the fact they were on special offer made them a bargain. Even more of a bargain was the salad bowl which was included as a free upgrade to my order. I am most impressed! So, all in all I am extremely pleased with my order and customer service is excellent. Thank you. I would definitely recommend this product.

These Which recommended products actually work. They appear well made and reasonably stylish. Big benefit is that they not only work well, but are easy to fill, have considerable capacity for salt crystals / peppercorns and also not messy due to the fact that they store in a position where the milling output is uppermost. You can effectively adjust the fineness of the Millings too. They are the best Salt and Pepper Mills I have ever owned, not cheap but sensibly priced given that they operate so well. Very pleased.
