It looks really nice on our oak side and goes with our neutral look.It is very lightweight but as it has four slots, it is quite big, but it's far more compact than other models at this capacity.The four slots are controlled by two separate levers, each operating a pair of slots, which makes it easy to toast different amounts depending on how many people need breakfast.Each pair has its own browning control dial, along with dedicated defrost, bagel and reheat functions. There's also a handy cancel button in the centre of the dial, which illuminates when in use.In day-to-day use, it produces toast exactly how I like it (golden!) and does it very quickly. It's ideal for defrosting bread for my little one's sandwiches, and also making yummy crumpets when I'm in a rush with breakfast (and is more than wide enough for them). For a busy household, it's been far more convenient than relying on the grill every morning.It's easy to clean by pulling out the base and crumbs don't leak everywhere like others I've used. It does smell a bit after the first few uses, but then it just goes back to that normal lovely morning toast smell.Overall, I'm very happy with this toaster and would happily recommend it. It's pricier than others I've owned, but it's very good considering, with a finish that hasn't tarnished at all and it's easy to wipe clean. Great item.
From the start you feel thequality, just geting it out the box, it's in a pulls string bag, then in a soft plastic bag, totally wrapped.The toaster, this one matt grey and bright chrome is perfectly finished and produced, looking, fellong solid and good, great design with all the controls easy to see and use.Settings, you have defrost, reheat, bagel selected by the marked button, to change the heat output to suit. For toasting just set the large, easy grip button to the number setting 1-6 mins, going up in 30 secs clicks. The same button can be pressed to cancel the current toasting.The 4 slots are extra wide for bagels, teacakes as well as the toast. As with most toasters these days, supermarket type rectangle pieces will go fully in, whereas bakery (as in my example) bread is to tall, so you have to remember to flip it or set the timer to pop it when it needs flipping.The handles tto pop the toast are nicely made, easy to use and the knobs good for gripping.The toast, this set on 4 mins, came out really nicely, the one side darker than the other so you need to get used to the device, nice and crisp on the outside and slightly crunchy in the middle.Underneath you've 2 crumb trays that pull out easily and don't spill all the crumbs in doing so.Its a great classical look for days gone by, its so simple to use, has 4 peice capacity and works exceeptionally well.It's the quality we expect from rangemaster and I'm sure it will last more than the 3 years warranty that comes with it.
I would never spend this much on a toaster, but after using the Rangemaster Classic 4-Slice Toaster in Matt Grey, I can honestly say the quality justifies the price. It feels exceptionally well made, with a solid construction that stands out from cheaper alternatives.A lovely touch was the presentation and packaging. Mine even came with an extra drawstring storage bag, which added to the premium feel and showed attention to detail.Performance-wise, it handles just about anything you put in it. The extra-wide slots are great for thicker bread, crumpets, bagels and artisan loaves, and the six browning levels give plenty of control. The Lift-and-Look feature is particularly useful for checking progress without cancelling the cycle, and the removable crumb tray makes cleaning quick and easy.The only minor issue I've found is with standard supermarket sliced bread. Because the slots are quite deep, the very top edge of some slices may not brown evenly, so I occasionally flip the bread halfway through for a perfect result. It's a small compromise and doesn't affect thicker or larger slices.All in all this is an expensive toaster, but it's one of those products where you can genuinely see and feel where the money has gone. Excellent build quality, great features, attractive design, and reliable performance make it well worth the investment.I think a voucher with money off would allow this item to sell more products. We all like to feel like we're getting a bargain.

Amazon replaced it, and the replacement has been working perfectly since. The Rangemaster Classic Toaster in Matt Grey is definitely one of the most beautiful toasters I've ever used. Right out of the box, it makes a great impression – it looks incredibly elegant, stylish, and downright posh. However, I must admit that the price is very high in my opinion, and that's probably the biggest drawback of this product. You're paying not only for functionality, but also for the premium brand and look. Despite this, after using it for a while, I can say that the toaster does its job very well and works exactly as it should. Toast is evenly toasted, and the ability to choose from six browning levels allows you to easily adjust the browning level to your preference. The extra-wide slots are also very useful, allowing for easy insertion of thicker slices of bread, bagels, or artisan bread. The "lift-and-look" function is a great addition – you can check the toasting level without interrupting the process, which is very convenient for everyday use. The anti-jam function is also a plus, increasing safety and providing a sense of well-thought-out design. The removable crumb tray makes cleaning easy, and the overall appearance is solid and durable. The toaster operates quietly and stably, and doesn't get excessively hot on the outside.
