Russell Hobbs Addison 4 Slice Toaster 27740 (Matte Black)

The toaster works well and is well made. It also looks great with the classic design.

Feels sturdy and does exactly what I need it to. Toast comes out how I like it without much fiddling around. The settings are straightforward and reliable. It’s handled different types of bread without any trouble. Cleaning is simple and it doesn’t make a mess. Looks good on the counter too.

Breakfast hours are always hectic here, and we use a lot of toast! This matte black 4-slice toaster has worked great. My family likes that it has wide slots, so bagels and leaner bread fit in nicely. It toasts fairly evenly too. Occasionally the browning isn't on both sides exactly the same, so I need to be careful, but for the most part it turns out wonderfully.

I recently requested the Russell Hobbs Toaster, and it's absolutely amazing. It has a 4-slice option and all options in between. Its settings allow for each compartment to have independent browning, which is perfect for households where there are differing preferences to be catered for.The compartments allow for thick bread slices, so this is a versatile toaster option.Cleaning is a breeze with the removable crumb tray.It comes in a striking Black and Silver contrast.I would definitely recommend this to a household of toast fans.

Despite a couple of design issues, this toaster performs very well overall and is especially handy for households with different toasting needs.Pros:Independent dual heating zones allow you to toast different items at separate settings – perfect for families with varied preferences.Wide slots easily accommodate thick slices, bagels, and artisan bread without getting stuck.Clear and responsive controls make it easy to set the right temperature, with a good range for light to dark toasting.High lift feature helps safely remove smaller items like crumpets or muffins without burning your fingers.Cons:Crumb tray design is poor – you have to tilt the toaster to access it, which often results in crumbs spilling out. So cleaning is not easy.Tip: Place a tray underneath before emptying to avoid a mess.Temperature dials can be easily knocked, which might accidentally change your settings.

This Russell Hobbs 4 slice toaster looks sleek and stylish that matches perfectly with my kitchen appliances. It has an independent dual controls which allows me to use either two slots or four slots depending on the demands. The dual controls also enable me to set up the browning level independently, so slot 1 and 2 can be toasted differently from slot 3 and 4. This function is convenient if your family members has different browning preferences. The high-lift function of the toaster allows safe retrieving smaller items without risk of burning fingers. Its reheat and defrost functions are handy if your have food stored in fridge or freezer. In addition, it can be easily cleaned thanks to its removable crumb tray.

Had for a few months and does the job

Although I only use two slots at present it does work perfectly

Nice toaster

The toaster is great looks fantastic. Fast delivery

No issues with the toaster - it produces a good distribution of "burn" on the bread .The flip function is not as good as other toasters since it only raises the toast slightly and need an implement to get the toast out if still hot. The crumb tray is also a little strange since it does not slide off

I had originally bought a Dualit for more than double the price, but the toasting ability was not acceptable. So I returned it and tried this arguably less high-end product instead.Whilst it isn’t quite as solid or heavy, that doesn’t matter, as this toasts far and away better than the Dualit.No-one has complained about unevenly cooked toast. It copes with all thicknesses and bread sizes thus far. Looks very presentable on the worktop. We also opted for a coordinating Russell Hobbs kettle and that’s good too.

Excellent service. Beautiful toaster. It is well built and easy to use. It’s very stylish. I would say it is worth the money.
