You know, when you think of all the many times you use your kettle throughout the day it makes sense to treat yourself to one that’s been well made, stylish, efficient, isn’t noisy and which will boil fast - and those features are exactly what you get with this one from Russell Hobbs. This kettle is also easy to fill and pour, and it’s comfortable to hold when full. I was even impressed with the packaging of this product which was sensibly wrapped in plain, white paper and protectively held within its cardboard box - no plastic in sight! Not surprisingly, these are designed in the UK, then made in China, but it’s worth remembering that Russell Hobbs is a British-founded brand and has been in existence for almost 75 years.The bottom line is that if you’re looking for a really good quality kettle, then I can fully recommend this one from Russell Hobbs. Five stars all the way for this product.
Arrived on time, took it straight out of the box boiled it up twice as per the instructions.. it works perfectly doesn’t take long to boil works as described..

The first one unfortunately developed a fault with the led around the bottom, but the company quickly authorised a replacement the next day and that one is still running perfectly. I would advise regular descaling as there is an insert permanently fitted in the bottom of the kettle that loses its shine after a few days of use, and adds to the long term effect in some water areas where you get that metallic taste in your cup of tea from the scale. Since purchase have needed to do it twice which is around normal, but without the insert it would maybe be less as other kettles previously lasted up to 12 months between descaling. As a kettle it is great, it does the job as expected and looks nice with the other items around it, matching well. I would give 4 and a half because of that insert but there is no half stars and the brand is a 5 not a 4. :) The after sales service was second to none. Very happy.
Nice looking kettle which pours well. Really quiet and quick boiling as advertised. Worth the price with next day delivery. Blue light around bottom of kettle which goes out once boiled looks very stylish.

Nice looking kettle. Comfortable to handle when full, easy read measures on two sides and really fast boil. My only complaint regards the pink plastic thing inside which I've so far been unable to remove. Presumably a (totally unnecessary) guide for filling which will hinder cleaning.Otherwise very happy with this kettle

Love the kettle. I purchased it to replace a Russell Hobbs Worcester, brushed stainless steel cordless kettle, which was very noisy. And I am pleased to say that this Buckingham kettle IS quite quiet :-)I did purchase this Buckingham kettle as 'Used - very good' and when it came, I noticed it had two, small cosmetic faults on the surface of the stainless steel exterior. So I believe that the previous buyer did not use it at all but returned it because of these cosmetic faults.
Nice kettle unfortunately the delivery guy left it at the wrong address.The photo he sent as confirmation was not my house. Fortunately I recognised the front door of the house in the photo he sent and had to pick it up myself.Not very happy as my house quite clearly has the number outside on the wall next to the door !!!

Have to say Im very pleased with my new Russel Hobbs brushed satin stai less steel kettle . I can confirm this model is definitely much quieter & faster when boiling, the button to open lid works well, the blue light only operates when boiling (it nearly put me off buying the kettle) I'm hoping the water gauge doesn't start to leak... Time will tellIt's very good value for the money I think.

Solid performance, boils fast and is reasonably quiet. Looks stylish in my kitchen too.
Very happy with this kettle overall, looks good, super quiet, very fast, used it for a while now and is not letting me down. The weird water taste is true though! However I am not deducting any stars as it's very easily remedied - inside it has the 3 cup measurement bit of red plastic, easily removed. Well take that out and put it straight in the bin! This kind of plastic reacts with any chlorine in the water and amplifies its taste, the minute you remove that the weird taste is no more. I am baffled why the manufacturer would put that in there in the first place! And the kettle is excellent once that is taken out.
