Bought June 2024.I now need to buy new one copper or brass connector at base as bent and corroded the centre contact is bent so cannot put kettle down on base.Disappointed made in china I bought russell hobbs because I though it was a british brand. Will buy a made in England.Russell hobbs will not buy your make again.

Nice kettle but I have to make sure when I pick it up I keep my hand well down on the handle, if I don’t I get burned from the steam. Something wrong with the design I fear. I am considering sending it back.

Very nice kettle indeed the stainless steel looks really good and clean really stands out it is rapid boiling water its also nice and neat it has water level indicator on both sides of the kettle I really like the pour spout very precise makes the morning coffee taste better with the stainless steel overall really good buy and worth every penny easy 5 stars
Does what it says on the tin. The interior paddles that indicate when the water has reached either 1, 2 or 3 cups is not only useful but saves water (and also time as the boil speed is good when, say, only a couple of cups are needed). Easy to fill from the centre (but keep your fingers out of the way, or you can fill from the spout which is quite big. The kettle itself is reasonably light Not so quiet when boiling as some kettles we have had over the years, but that is a small price to pay for its other virtues.
Pictures show it to be Matt but is very shiny so will show every drop of hard water. It does gush when pouring so needs care with boiling water. Otherwise it is a lovely shape.
