I'm physically disabled with limited dexterity, so I tend to spill water over my hand and get burnt while holding a kettle.I decided to find one that would work for me, and this ticks all the boxes.First of all, it's a really lovely looking kettle. The plastic coating, which is exactly like honeycomb, is easy to keep clean. It doesn't show up fingerprints and has a lovely gloss finish. It is very light to lift, and even when it's filled to its maximum, I still find it easy to hold. The lid pops up, and there's plenty of room to fill it with water. It doesn't take long to boil, doesn't make too much noise, and once it's boiled, I can touch it as it's not boiling hot. It just gets warm. The handle is a sensible size and is easy to hold and pour water into a cup to make tea. I would always have got burnt doing this on my last kettle, which cost £100. Even though this kettle only cost £23 it's 💯 better than my old one which had different temperatures and a keep water hot facilityThe quality of this kettle is excellent, I can't find any negative points. Even the rest of the family love it.I'd highly recommend it, especially if you've limited dexterity. The video shows the length of time a full kettle comes to the boil, and the fact i was able to touch it.
Very good kettle, lightweight and boils very quickly
Very pleased with this kettle. It’s sturdy, but light, and the cup measure is very accurate. Easy to pour.
Absolutely amazing
Boils water quickly and quite quietly. Happy with this good looking kettle
Good it’s made by Russell Hobbs
This Cordless Kettle is working well so far had it about a week now and works ok fast boil not too noisy I am happy with it .
Good
Does the job
I am very fussy about kettles. So easy to use. Weight perfectly balanced. Attractive looking. A really good buy. Not sure why anyone would pay more as you could not get better quality than this one.
This kettle is a great buy. The base is heavier than previous kettles I've had. This makes it easier to lift kettle off base. The pattern catches the light and looks real classy. The handle is a perfect shape and fits snuggly in hand. The spout is a much better shape than most kettles which makes for a clean drip free pour. So delighted with this product and so reasonably priced. Highly recommend
Quite good
Super kettle fast boil and indicator in kettle tell you where to fill to for 1 2 or 3 cups
Fantastic kettle, much quieter than most of my previous kettles and is also incredibly fast to boil.
We love this kettle. The blue light is really snazzy, it's like making a drink in our own disco. The black outer coating and the honeycomb pattern do look much better than we thought they would. The kettle seems to be well bult from good quality materials. It feels strong and robust enough to take the knocks it'll no doubt get in our kitchen. It's easy to use and the instructions make a very complicated task quite easy - "put water in, switch on . . . " No, I'm not kidding. The handle is comfortable to hold and the overall ergonomics of the design are excellent. Our old Russell Hobbs gave up the ghost when the connections on the cordless base stopped working making it a bit hit and miss to turn on. On this one I've noticed that there's been a big improvement in the design for the connections which should help to alleviate that problem. As for size, this one is a whopping 1.7L. My wife is over the moon although even she'll struggle to drink that much hot chocolate. She's vowed to give it a try regardless. This is a great size for our flasks for days out. We have several that we take with us and this should do for the two largest flasks in one boil.Impressed as well with how quite this is. And the speed of the boil is first class. Once the lid's open this is very easy to clean internally and just a wipe down on the outside finishes the job.Great kettle, super glad that we chose this one, highly recommended.
Excellent item, bought one 3 yrs ago, this time it was cheaper, nice design, works well, obviously last one lasted 3yrs so good value, bit of a problem throw away and fresh one delivered same day
Oh boy, it’s a saga in my house with these kettles. Four of them, because apparently my son thinks one just won’t cut it for his germaphobe tendencies. I get it, right? You find something you think is perfect, and you just go ahead and get more of the same. Genius move, except every single one leaks out of the same spot. How is that even possible? My son, bless him, he’s stuck in a loop. He relishes the predictability of these kettles, finding comfort in their routine. But let me tell you, trying to explain that minor flaw to an autistic germophobe? Not easy. The way he stares at the kettle, I prefer it to him scrutinising me!And yes, I should have noticed the first one’s leak before diving into acquiring the second, third, and fourth. But of course, I didn’t. He even named them after the Teletubbies—Dipsy, Laa-Laa, Tinky Winky, and Po. My son wanted the whole Tiddlytubbies cast on top of that. His taste can't be faulted, but this kettle situation is driving me up the wall! Now I'm considering solar panels just to keep the coloured lights going for him. They distract from the staring—"Norris, what's the world record for the longest stare"? Showing my age, children's television used to exist without merchandise!Oh, and my hearing's shot too. I can see that the kettle's done, but the sound from the TV drowns it out. And before you ask, no, we’re not always watching Teletubbies; it’s all sorts of classics like the Wombles or Roobarb and Custard. This kettle? It looks fancy with that honeycomb design, but the moment you start using it, it turns into a waterfall—in a British drought "Raindrops keep falling”! A musical kettle would be nice though—imagine that singing while dribbling.Supposedly, it can boil one cup in forty-three seconds. Must be a special cup for "Wonderland", because mine just drags on. But how hilarious would a singing kettle be? My son, and the Mock Turtle! And yes, there’s that boil dry protection feature. It has a window too, but ask my son if he’s ever used an empty kettle! He just stares at you and the vessel, as if it’s the most fascinating thing he’s ever seen. NO CHANCE OF BOIL DRY THEN!Two of these kettles in my bedroom for a germaphobe? The mind boggles. Think of all the absurd uses for a kettle! Don’t ever dare challenge a germaphobe on their knowledge of a kettle’s utility. So, this kettle is dubbed premium with its stylish honeycomb design and stainless steel accents, or so they say. It’s a cordless model as well, and one thing’s for sure—technology hasn’t really made our lives any easier. Here we go with all this chatter about "Alice in Wonderland". Nick is gonna want a new collection of kettles! I mean, what’s next? The Mad Hatter kettle? The White Rabbit kettle? Seriously, do we really need a kettle that hops around and makes tea at midnight? A luminous Cheshire Cat kettle!A dwelling where shadows of doubt reside,And endless kettles stand in solemn pride.Obsession's simmer, a ceaseless, steaming sigh,Each vessel bound, beneath a watchful eye.Kettle on kettle, a symphony of dread,In halls of sterile fear, where hope lies dead. The pots abound, a merciless decree,A dance with unseen foes, eternally.Their silent count, a jest, a mocking gleam,Upon a soul lost in a troubled dream.Purification's quest, a winding, endless maze,Where cleanliness reigns, in unyielding haze.
