Fantastic kettle. Reasonable quiet boiling compaired to my old bosch at half the price. No spilling when poring. Had this kettle 6 months now and I live in a hard water area and the inside is clean as a whistle. I don't normally submit reviews but yes I thought it was worth letting other possible purchasers know what a great kettle it is from a competitive well known brand.
This is my second Luna kettle. I really like the look and design so when the old one started to look, a bit tatty, I bought the same again. It's quite fast to boil, switches off quickly and easy to boil a small amount with clear water gauge. Surprisingly for a metal kettle it had a bit of a plasticy taste even though I followed instructions re pre use boiling and emptying but this did eventually go.
Brilliant kettle does what it says on the box
Is safe to use, has a good handle for gripping.
Looks nice boils water quickly. Light to pick up.
I have owned and used my Russell Hobbs Lunar electric kettle for over three months.I can report that it is a beautifully balanced and crafted product. As described it really boils fast but I wouldn't describe it as quiet (er...I don't wear a hearing aid!). Maybe my last kettle - a Siemens' Porsche Design - was a quiet one.I like this kettle's clean exterior design and its hygienic, stainless-steel (non-plastic) water container. I have long suspected that contact with plastic makes our food and drinks more carcinogenic and promotes memory loss.On a very practical level, the pourer is brilliant and very easy to control from a mere trickle to a frothing gush. One negative picked up by others and concurred by me is why the kettle continues boiling for so many seconds before the boil sensor turns it OFF?
Nice kettle. Quite quiet, quick switch off and looks neat on the worktop.
Brilliant kettle, pours great & its quiet & fast enough.Luna Grey Colour is a nice Stainless Steel not darkish grey.
Great kettle. Pours really well and is much quieter than last kettle.
Great product . Looks good , very quiet , honest value
Wanted a nice looking kettle and this looks very pretty on the countertop - sturdy, pours with precision and stainless steel is easy to clean. quiet boil suits an open plan kitchen living room
Very stylish like it looks good bought matching toaster
A great kettle that looks good and boils quickly and very quietly. The red cup markers inside the kettle are handy for a single cup boil. Other reviews mention issues with the lid button but no problems here.
Not cheap at £36 but what a lovely kettle. Very attractive, feels solid, good pouring action, quicker to boil and a good deal quieter than my last one. Only slight niggle is it takes about 10 seconds to switch off when it reaches boiling point.
