I was really pleased to have the opportunity to order this two slice toaster, as my old four slice toaster has seen better days - toasting unevenly or more often than enough burning it. Although 4 toaster slots may serve well for very large families, my old toaster was hardly used to capacity in the many years that it was in use, so a two slice seems a good option again for me and takes less space.With seven browning levels and two self-centring slots, there should be no excuse for burning toast. Also I look forward to having toasted bagels, crumpets or muffins. Hot cross buns are the tricky ones as they tend to burn easily.Amongst the different functions, the defrost setting is one that I’d very seldomly use but it’s good to have as an option. What is really novel for me is the reheat function, reheating cold toast without burning, which will be great. All the other features are pretty standard.Part of the Hexton collection, the design looks really smart and well finished. It is available in either a black, cream or white colour so enough colour range to complement most kitchen decor.At £34.99 at the time of writing this review, it seems fairly priced for a small toaster from a well known brand.
This toaster is really lovely for any kitchen. It is a good size product, dimensions are 17.1cm width, 27.5cm length and 18.8cm height, so would fit in a nice space on the worktop. It would also fit in a cupboard if you do not want it out all the time. What I like about this toaster is the 7 browning levels, my husband likes his toast well done but I am much more of a golden brown girl. With this toaster you just have to turn the dial up or down and it does all the work for you. I know that I have to turn it to 2 for me and it will just do it to perfection. Something I have never seen on a toaster is a reheat button. It has a defrost button and a stop mid-cycle button which is on most toasters but it also has a reheat button, which I am yet to try, but am very intrigued.One thing that annoys me about toasters is that sometimes the toast is too small for the toaster so when it pops up you have to get a knife and get the toast out, as it does not stick out. With this one, there is a lever on the side that allows high lift and so therefore makes it really easy to get all size toast out.
This toaster arrived well packaged and in good condition. Upon opening, I noticed it was very lightweight, which is convenient as I didn’t want a bulky appliance on the counter. It has a simple black design that fits easily into most kitchens.The toaster has two slots and is very user-friendly, with three straightforward settings and adjustable browning levels. It heats up quickly, which is great for saving time in the mornings.Overall, it offers good performance for the price and is a solid, no-fuss option for everyday use.

I like the look of this model. It looks good in black and chrome. When you get a new toaster, it's all about trial and error for the first use. It does tell you in the instructions, that you start on the lowest setting first, which makes sense. The slot width would definitely take a crumpet, although I haven't tried yet.The lead length is quite short, so it needs to be close to the plug socket.
