Bought this to replace my old swan kettle and it matches exactly the colour of my toaster and bread bin.
If you want this colour BE QUICK also be prepared to pay more than for other colours... Most of the other Retro products in the Blue are either sold out or will do so shortly.This version unlike the modern blue jug version is metal, the handle is on the side so you don't risk scolding yourself, it's a pull off/push on lid, fill from top or spout if you prefer, but take care as theirs a filter fitted into the spout.The full level is clear to see & easy to read, it has a decent glow if it's a bit darker, holds enough for 7 cups (average size) & even when full it boils quickly.Comes on a 360°stand so can be placed exactly where/how you want itAll I have left to find is the bread bin & the waste bin, my kitchen is white with a blue splashback in the same shade, it all looks wonderful together, truly retro just as I hoped. I find all Swan product's to be excellent quality for the price
This kettle is wonderful. Note that I bought the stainless steel version as painted kettles are a rusty nightmare. This Swan kettle is superb - super light, pretty quiet while boiling and has a great pouring spout. Hunting for a decent kettle today is a nightmare - this little beauty will save you the effort. It's also a good price.
Great kettle, fast to boil, great to pour, easy to fill, perfect handle. If I had to say something to improve this kettle it would be to move the fill indicator to the front of the kettle not underneath the handle, and make it quieter. Love this item.

I like this kettle, looks good, boils quickly, quiet, good capacity. No problems so far. The last 2 kettles I've had - different brands, the lever you push down to start stopped working at 11 months, just outside of warranty. This Swan kettle I registered online and now has a 2 year warranty I think so that's reassuring. But why kettles are expected to last only 1-2 years these days is beyond me! Also I found out after purchase if I had gone through Swan direct and signed up for their news letter I could have used a 20% discount coupon they sent you if you've never purchased with them before - could of saved me £8
