A great price for a toaster with all of the features you'd pay twice as much for in a leading electrical store. It's surprisingly lightweight, due to the high plastic (recycled!) content, and I assume this might support the lower cost.It's handy to have the dual controls, which are dials, which some people find easier. I like my toast darker than other family members, so this sorted that problem out. Each side also has its own cancel, defrost and, new to me, a reheat function. The reheat function applies a more gentle heat, which warms the toast, but does not further brown it.It's as small as a 4-slice toaster will get. The bread toasts evenly, regardless of width. Tall bread will need to be flipped, which is usual for standard-sized toasters.The bevelled design is smart and still easy to clean. It's not too shiny to show marks too quickly.A tray collects the crumbs and can be removed to clean them out.The springs do not feel premium, but it's a decent brand, so I have faith they'll last.Great value for money.

I like having the independent controls as well, since it makes it more flexible if you’re toasting different things at once. This is a great 4 slice toaster.There are not so many 4 slice toasters now so I was pleasantly surprised with this one.It is not too big, so sits nicely on the worktop.It is really easy to use. It has a dial each side, with numbers 1 to 5, so you can choose how light or dark you like your toast. So if you are a family and like your toast different, you can have 2 alternatives to choose from which is so useful as I like it barely brown but my husband likes his very well done. There are also cancel, reheat and defrost buttons either side too.It takes regular slices of bread with not issues, and once you get the right settings, it works perfectly.The regular selling price is £49.99, but it is currently on offer at £35.99 which is great value.Overall it is a strong and easy to use, an overall great purchase.
This toaster is one of the better looking ones available out there. Its matte finish and vertical lines design make it look quite elegant.It is slightly bigger then my previous 4 slice toaster, which I don't mind, this being attributed to extra features and more thickness in the toasting compartment so it will easily toast even thicker slices. Length of slice is still standard.All the toasting options work well and the browning is done evenly.The buttons and levers are precise when pressed and there is no jittering or wiggling of the parts when operated, this being in line with the overall good build quality of the toaster.I like that the toasting compartments can be operated independently (2 by 2) as with my old toaster I couldn't cancel the toasting for just two of the slices if I wanted to and leave the other two to carry on toasting, and it would have to cancel all 4 at the same time.I believe the toaster very good value for money without making any compromise on quality or aspect.
good sized 4 slice toaster.has 6 browning levels and operates in 2 pairs of slots so you can prepare your toast one way while making your partners or kids how they prefer it at the same time.it's a nice looking design but a little plasticky but for £40 it's to be expected.the controls are easy to operate and it seems to be a nice consistent and functional toaster.browning is nice and even and it cooks pretty quickly.it's a reasonable price for a well made 4 slot toaster.
Great 4 slice toaster, compact and easy to use
This toaster has been brilliant for everyday use in a house where everyone eats a lot of toast and it's very solidly built for the price.The independent controls are amazing because it means different things can be toasted at the same time without one side burning while the other is still pale. I love this so much!The browning settings are easy to adjust and it toasts fairly evenly overall, which surprisingly isn’t always guaranteed with four slice toasters. I've also found that the self-centring function also helps thinner bread toast more consistently.I like that it doesn’t take up as much counter space as I expected for a four slice model because my kitchen is small and counter space is at a premium and it looks stylish.Overall, it feels like a good practical family toaster without loads of unnecessary extras.
Good size for family

Much better than our previous toaster which was fairly new but frustrating and never toasted properly. This one is smart looking, toasts well on various types of bread and various thicknesses of bread. There is a handy lifter to help get the toast out. Very convenient that you can defrost and toast all in a single operation. Good that you can do one kind of toast on one side and set the other side differently to toast (say) crumpets.
