As a toaster it does it's job and it does it well!In my house everyone likes their toast toasted differenty, as a result it took a while and quite a lot of bread for everyone to find their 'perfect' setting. The touch slider allows a much greater degree of control over the toasting process but once you have found your perfect setting it will produce the same result time after time whether it be golden brown or burnt within an inch of it's life (looking at you Mum).In addition to bread it can also toast waffles, crumpets and several other all of which have presets or can be adjusted using the slider. It also has a defrost setting which I never use - does anyone actually freeze bread these days?The display is cleverly reflected to a horizontal 'screen' and is easy to read and use.One handy feature is the timer - it lets you know how long to go till your toast is ready, no more trying to peer inside to see if your last piece of bread is overcooking!It does remember the last setting so if only one setting is used in a house then it will always be correctly set, sadly in my house that is not the case but it is easy enough to adjust it.Overall it is just a toaster but it looks modern, works well and most importantly produces consistent toast.

Really impressed with this digital Tower Cavalletto Mirage toaster. The touch controls are so easy to use, and the different settings for bread, bagels, gluten-free, muffins and even waffles make such a difference. It toasts evenly, the countdown timer is super handy, and it looks so modern on the countertop. Matches my kettle perfectly too! Brilliant quality and totally worth it.
Such a lovely bit of kit, love that it's got presets, love that you can control how brown you want your toast/waffle/bagel etc. it's a lovely asthetically pleasing design, love the colour and the size of the unit. Paired with the kettle, my breakfast counter looks lovely and neat. I love the technology incorporated into the Mirage toaster, a big selling point to me
I’m genuinely impressed with the Mirage toaster — the design feels fresh and different, and it looks modern and stylish on the counter. The digital controls make it really easy to get perfect toast every time, and the presets actually help instead of being gimmicks. Toasting is fast and reliable, and honestly more enjoyable to use than I expected. Overall, it’s a great mix of style and performance, especially if you’ve got the matching Mirage kettle.
Good quality toaster. Aesthetically this looks very nice on the kitchen side but is also compact enough to store in a cupboard. The acrylic screen area is bright and the controls are easy to use and respond well to touch. There are a number of helpful presets that you can select by image and there are also seperate controls for how light or dark you wish to toast. The outer is mainly metal and everything feels well made and sturdy. The countdown timer is also very handy. It cooks evenly and does so very quickly even with frozen bread. The defrost setting also worked well. There is also an easy to remove crumb tray for quick cleaning.
This is a good looking toaster with a screen on the front with lots of presets, you can also control things personally so it's not a problem if you don't like the presets.The touchscreen looks a little over the top for a toaster but it works and responds to touch fine.The toast when you make it is evenly browned and, with a bit of personal adjustment, you can make it exactly how you want it to be.The toaster itself looks good, it's not too big and it works very well.Only thing I would say is the slots could be a little wider, but that's only if you cut your own doorsteps out of bread, none of the bought loaves would have a problem fitting in this.All in all, nice good looking toaster that works well.
At first I wasn't sure if the digital panel was a bit of a gimmick, but I've actually found it very useful for different reasons! It's great that it's a 2 slice toaster as it fits the space needed, but would also get the 4 slice too in the future if available. It does toast well once you get used to it and the 5 pre settings work well too. Good price for this bit of kitchen kit too!
This toaster is a great quality item and it certainly looks the part. It is stylish and the unusual "pepper's ghost" style display sets it apart from others. The controls are intuitive and responsive and I find that the toast that comes out on the default setting is lovely and golden brown as I like it.

Lovely toaster. Very handy being able to select bread types and then amount of browning. Touch screen looks very futuristic and clean but sometimes a little hard to make specific selections re browning. Other than that, great quality toaster.
I love the Tower brand and this is a great toaster with a nice touch screen feature that works really well and it matches my other Tower appliances but I just wish that it had 4 slots instead of 2 but so far I have only done toast in it Which browns the toast just right depending on how you like your toast done.
Good toaster
I'm really impressed by this toaster. I love the different settings not just for toast but for bagels, waffles etc and the fact that you can set it to toast exactly the way you like it. There's also a really useful countdown feature so you know how much longer your toast has to toast.It also looks really stylish and fits in well into my kitchen.
It’s a good toaster , take some getting used to. I wanted a toaster that all controls were facing when operating it that seemed to be the only one available, but it works nicely
